Far Eastern Fine Furniture touts themselves as the largest importer of rosewood furniture in New England. I realize Chinese rosewood furniture appeals to a very targeted market, and it is not practical for a retailer to keep that much on hand. They had a good selection of traditional furniture that you'd find in a typical American home, but I was a little disappointed that they did not have much Chinese furniture on display. Still, I wasn't about to write them off because finding quality Chinese furniture in the Boston area is a challenge. I should know because I had been searching for years. They more than made up for the lack of inventory with the outstanding service and willingness to work with me to order pieces (custom or otherwise). As a first time homebuyer, I have visited too many furniture stores to count. By far, the service at Far Eastern Furniture went above and beyond the service of any other furniture store I have visited. After I selected my furniture, they contacted me every few days up until the time it was delivered to update me on the status. Everything arrived in perfect condition, and I am absolutely thrilled by the quality.
